During your real estate agent career, you will - at some point - have a need to change brokerages. Whether you found a greater deal somewhere else, you're in a toxic environment, or you just need a new office look, changing a brokerage is a healthy means to grow yourself in your career. So, it's understandable why someone would want to work for a different company.
So, how do you change brokerages?
The process is simple. Changing brokerages is as easy as a filling out the form and getting the signature of your current brokerage. These forms are available on the BRE website, and the links are below. The hard part is the act of leaving.
Sometimes we feel like we're letting down the brokerage we're signed with or you don't want to have that uncomfortable conversation with your team leader.
