Handmade sunburst thinline tele, made in USA. Nice med-light weight Swamp Ash body with attractive 3-tone sunburst. Maple neck and fingerboard. Vintage “C” shaped neck profile. Suhr “SSV” humbucking pickups.
The 5-way p/u selector switch allows you to select between humbucking and single coil tones.

This is a wonderful guitar. Everything about it is “positive”. Nice weight, balance, excellent tone and perfect build quality.

New guitar from an Idaho luthier, Joel Keefe Shoemaker. Alaskan Yellow Cedar top, Padauk back and sides. Mahogany neck, radiused Ebony fingerboard with pearl inlays. Very nice Padouk multiple wooden bindings on the top, back and sides, with multiple purfling lines seen on all quarters. Ebony bridge, slotted peghead with Ebony overlay and nickel Grover tuners. Excellent condition. This is an original shellac finish guitar with most of the finish intact. Years ago, shellac was "French polished" over wear areas. Two side cracks professionally repaired. No cracks evident on back. Top has some minor cracks repaired. Inside is very clean with "C.F. Martin and Co. Nazareth, PA" stamped inside. Serial number 9733 stamped on neck block. Brazilian Rosewood with Adirondack Red Spruce top. Beautiful two-piece cypress neck. Pyramid bridge appears to be original and has been professionally reglued. Ivory nut and saddle. Multiple wooden bindings with outer binding rosewood on top and back of guitar. Wooden herringbone soundhole rosette. Cut diamond pearl position markers inlaid in radiused ebony fingerboard. Wooden herringbone backstrip. This guitar has aged well and is excellent condition considering it is 112 years old. The sound is every bit as rich as you would expect from a guitar of this vintage. Remarkably figured Mahogany body. “Haircut” peghead with pearl Collings logo at top and clever tortoise/Ivoroid truss rod cover. Ebony peghead overlay. Tuners have Ivoroid buttons. Bone nut. Radiused Rosewood fingerboard has Ivoroid dot inlays and large guitar frets with no hint of player wear. Beautiful multi-level tortoise/Ivoroid/black/Ivoroid pickguard. Two soap bar pickups. Stop tailpiece. Beautiful contours. This is very similar to a vintage Gibson Les Paul Special but this one is much more handmade and has much better contour cuts in the body. Beautifully resonant. Set up very nice. Neck is perfect.

This guitar is in amazing unplayed condition. Only two tiny scratches on it. Comes in original case.

Excellent condition. Yes, this is the truly handmade prototype of the Gibson "J-60" model. The marking on label states "J-60 #1". Beautiful square-shouldered Rosewood dreadnaut guitar from Gibson, with hand-scalloped, hand-tuned advanced bracing. In 1990 and 1991 Gibson Purchasing Agent and noted Montana guitarist, John Lowell, paid some attention to the fact that Martin Co was beating Gibson Co with sales of Martin's HD-28 series. John Lowell knew that Gibson had just as powerful (or even more powerful), a guitar in their "Advanced Jumbo", but it had always enjoyed only moderate popularity among players. John thought that if the guitar was re-designed into a "Square-Shoulder" dreadnaut guitar that still retained the advanced, scalloped, hand-tuned bracing, that players would get excited about it. Gibson, however, didn't seem to want to devote any time to the project. John Lowell already had the right to build a personal guitar a year at Gibson, so he decided to build this concept model on his "off" time at Gibson for his own. He completed the guitar late in 1991. Gibson examined the guitar closely and decided to start producing them in the factory... and thats how the J-60 model was born. Rosewood back and sides. High-grade Sitka Spruce top. Rosewood peghead overlay and bridge. Gabon Ebony fingerboard with no inlays. Bone nut and bone cut-thru saddle. Antique'd white bindings around top and back of body and along fingerboard. Multiple blk/iv/blk purflings inside binding on top and back edges. Firestripe pickguard. Originally had Kluson Copy tuners. Those were replaced with nickel Waverly open-back tuners. This guitar is a fine flatpicking guitar. It is a "proven" guitar, having travelled and performed and recorded and practiced with John Lowell in the "Kane's River" band and other music endeavors.
